When 42 guests from a corporate office team arrived at Blue Sky in Park City, Utah, the agenda included horseback riding, mountain air, and a week full of shared experiences. What they didn't expect was walking away with a custom hat they'd actually wear for the rest of the trip.
Our Hattenders set up in Park City and guided each guest through a fully personalized hat-building experience—choosing their style, color, bands, feathers, beads, and branding. For many, it was their very first time customizing a hat. By the end, every single person had something that felt genuinely theirs. When horseback riding came around later that week, they showed up wearing their creations.
That's the kind of moment that makes an event stick. A custom hat carries real weight—not just as a keepsake, but as something guests actually use. It sparks conversations, draws questions, and becomes part of the story people tell when they get home. For a team-building setting especially, that kind of shared experience does something that a typical activity can't: it gives everyone a common memory tied to something they made themselves.
