Alesha Blomquist is a woman whom we love + admire for many reasons. We're  honored to be able to feature her + the many hats she wears on the blog today! As she takes off her brim to help us see life through her lens - - - we encourage you to pull up a chair + get to know her even better! 

What are the roles or hats you lead in your life?

My first and most important hat I wear would be the hat of motherhood. The absolutely hardest yet amazing hat I will ever wear. I wouldn’t want to do anything else. I am so thankful I live a life that allows me to spend my days with my two babes. I’m not here to say every day is perfect, but I sure cherish each day with them.

I also recently have discovered my voice when it comes to sharing my experiences in life. I have recently been sharing my experiences with others which has allowed me to educate them as well. I didn’t realize how powerful my voice hat could be. I will continue to wear it and never forget that my voice can make a change.

Which hat do you find most rewarding?

Definitely the hat of motherhood. Like I said before, it is the hardest job and at the same time the best job in the world. Watching my kids grow and learn each day reminds me of just how precious and special life is.

What hats do you find the most challenging and what do you do to embrace them?

My voice hat is still one I am working on wearing with confidence. Like many, I often doubt and second guess myself. Here’s to being unapologetically me!

What hats are least know about you?

My creative hat. This includes art and it also includes fashion. I love art. I love to draw. I love to paint. It is truly a form of therapy for me and is so freeing. Since motherhood, I haven’t worn my creative hat as much. I also love fashion. I could spend hours and hours skimming through magazines or browsing Pinterest for inspiration. This is another part of my creative hat I haven’t been wearing as much.

Who or what inspires you?

This is tough! So so many different people and things in my life inspire me. Each for so many different things. I have learned many things from many different people. I do not think I could just choose one person or thing. Each person in this world is so unique and I am constantly inspired by old and new people in my life.

I think music inspires me quite a bit. I am not that musically talented myself but music can be so moving and powerful. Whether it is reminding me to be strong and keep going or to be in touch with my emotions.

Favorite Gigi Pip style/color + why?

This is hard. I love my Monroe in brown a lot. She’s perfect for every season. For winter, I love my Scottie in grey. Both of these hats I throw on if I want to dress up/down any outfit or if I’m simply having a bad hair day.
