Hat-itude of Gratitude: Jaqueline
Meet Jaqueline, a Jesus follower + joy seeker learning to live simply in her 200 sq ft RV.
We asked her to share a few things that she was oh so grateful for + the hats that she wears.
I’m wearing the hat-titude of gratitude for sooo many reasons!
Right now, mostly because my fiancé just enlisted and left for 25 weeks of training in the active duty Army down in Georgia. While it would be so easy for me to get down in the dumps or focus on only the bad things happening around me, get sad and lonely, I decided to be grateful and focus on all the goodness that God has produced for not only me but for my family as well! We’re thankful that he has the desire to serve and protect our country! We’re grateful that he loves our family so much to want to better it for us. I’m also super thankful for the opportunity to be able to take our tiny home, our RV, with us during this whole adventure! So we’re never really far away from ‘home’
The person I’m most grateful for in my life right now would definitely be my son, Brayden (although my fiancé takes a very close second place).
He has been my strength when I feel weak, my best friend, and my support system through this huge life change. He’s only 4 1/2 but he has taken all of this like a champ and I’m grateful that he calls me Mom.
Gosh, I must sound like a broken record but seriously, I wouldn’t be half the woman I was without my two guys, Josh and Brayden.
Joshua, my fiancé, pushes me to be the best version of myself daily. He has encouraged me to see that I’m fully capable of doing whatever it is my heart desires and has definitely helped me become the woman that I am today. Brayden, my son, is the reason I want to become a better person, a better mother. Everything I do, I do for him and our future. He came into my life during a very low point and gave me a sense of worth that I did not believe I had before him. He is the reason I am who I am.
